Gabriel Macht will once again step into the role of smooth lawyer Harvey Specter, as revealed by Suits LA and NBC. It’s important to note that Suits LA marks the second offshoot of the original Suits series, which was aired on USA Network from 2011 to 2019. Previously, another spin-off titled Pearson ran for one season before it was discontinued on the same network.
Gabriel Macht returns as Harvey Specter in Suits LA Episode 4
A sneak peek or advertisement for Suits LA following episode 3 hinted that Gabriel Macht would reprise his role as Harvey Specter in episode 4, entitled “Batman Returns,” set to air on NBC on March 16, 2025. However, if you’re watching on Peacock, the episode will be available a day earlier, on March 17.
Title summary for this episode: “Ted and Erica work together to rescue Lester’s film project, but their efforts could jeopardize his ongoing trial. Meanwhile, Rick seeks assistance from Stuart when dealing with a challenging actor who has been arrested. Previously, a risky move against a crime boss leads Ted back to an old acquaintance.
It’s uncertain if Harvey is the “old friend” mentioned, but we do have information that some of the scenes he features in are from past events. In fact, it’s been reported that the teaser occurs when Stephen Amell’s character Ted Black, the main protagonist of Suits LA, was still playing amateur baseball in New York. The scene takes place at a bar where Ted and his brother Eddie are present, and Harvey (presumably the old friend) interacts with them before ordering Macallan 25 for all three.
Afterward, Ted and Harvey appear to have some sort of competition brewing between them. Whether it’s related to baseball or a situation where they’re on opposite sides, isn’t clear. It’s possible this scene could be their initial meeting, setting up the possibility that they may start off as rivals before eventually becoming friends.
It remains uncertain if Harvey will be present in additional scenes aside from the mentioned flashback. Importantly, near the conclusion of Suits, Harvey moved from New York to Seattle to collaborate more closely with Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle).
