Official plot of Vettaikaaran
The storyline of Vettaikaaran centers around the character Ravi, portrayed by Vijay, who is a steadfast student with aspirations to join the police force, looking up to an encounter specialist as his role model. Simultaneously, he makes ends meet by driving a three-wheeled taxi known as an autorickshaw, while pursuing his academic goals.
Yet, Ravi’s life undergoes a significant change when he defends his female friend from being harassed by the son of a feared gangster. This action angers Vedanayagam, a powerful don, who swears to destroy Ravi’s life and hinder his aspirations of becoming a police officer.
In the remainder of the film, Ravi finds himself embroiled in mistaken allegations and heated confrontations. Determined to clear his name, defend justice, and eliminate the harmful elements obstructing him, he embarks on a struggle.

Apart from Thalapathy Vijay, the movie Vettaikaaran also features a talented ensemble of actors such as Anushka Shetty, Sanchita Padukone, Sathyan, Srihari, Sayaji Shinde, Salim Ghouse, Ravi Shankar, Ravi Prakash, Delhi Ganesh, Manobala and others.
This movie, titled “Vettaikaaran,” was penned and helmed by B. Babusivan. M. Balasubramaniam and Gurunath Meiyappan collaborated to produce it under the banner of AVM Productions and Entertainment. The musical score for this film was created by Vijay Antony.
