Who was Pamela Bach?
Born on October 16, 1963, Pamela Weissenbach hailed from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the second-born among three sisters and sadly passed away on March 5, 2025. In time, she became widely recognized as Pamela Bach.
In her youth, she chose a career path similar to her mother’s, delving into modeling, a pursuit that extended well into her teenage life.
Following graduation from Tulsa East Central High School, she pursued a combination of studies in Engineering and Theatre Arts at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. In the year 1985, she moved to Los Angeles.
Career
Bach collaborated with her spouse, David Hasselhoff, on the widely recognized television series Baywatch. Additionally, she frequently made appearances as a psychologist on the series Sirens.
Later on, she became a contestant during the eighth series of Celebrity Big Brother UK, which started in August 2011. Unfortunately, her journey ended on the fourteenth day, and she placed ninth overall.
Personal Life
In 1985, during the filming of an episode called “Knight Racer” for the show Knight Rider, Pamela Bach and David Hasselhoff first met. They later got married in December 1989.
The duo had the pleasure of bringing two girls into their family: Taylor Ann Hasselhoff, born May 5, 1990, who went on to study at the University of Arizona; and Hayley Hasselhoff, a talented actress born August 26, 1992.
In January 2006, David Hasselhoff announced his intention to end their marriage due to irreconcilable differences. By August 2006, the divorce was finalized. One daughter stayed with Pamela Bach, while another went to live with Hasselhoff.
Pamela and David made an appearance on the CBS soap opera “The Young and the Restless,” but they didn’t share screen time as she portrayed Mari Jo Mason #1 in 1994, while he played Dr. Snapper Foster #2 from 1975 to 1982. In simpler terms, Pamela acted in one role later, and David was in a different role for several years before that.
Cause of Death
On March 5, 2025, it was found that Pamela Bach had passed away from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound in her home. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death to be suicide.
