Jailer 2: Rajinikanth starrer to go on floors soon; here’s when and where the Tamil actioner will commence shoot

Superstar Rajinikanth has a number of action-packed films coming up, with Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer 2 being one of them. In this movie, Rajinikanth reprises his role as the beloved Muthuvel Pandian character, a role he originally played in the first film.

According to a recent report in Times of India, production for the film Jailer 2 is now ready to begin and will start filming next week in March 2025.

The report proposes that filming for the movie starring Rajinikanth will initially occur in Chennai. Afterward, the crew plans to travel to Goa and Theni, both located in Tamil Nadu, to complete the remaining schedule.

Additionally, there’s a lot of chatter indicating that the upcoming film, Jailer 2, might include actors Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar in unique or significant roles.

However, we’re yet to receive an official verification about these reports directly from the producers.

Not just Jailer 2, Rajinikanth also has Coolie, a Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial ahead.

Regarding film Jailer 2, it’s produced by Sun Pictures, and its intriguing teaser quickly swept across the internet. The audience was taken aback by Rajinikanth’s timeless allure and charisma, showcased in an action-packed sneak peek.

The music for the film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar has been created by Anirudh Ravichander, but the producers have not revealed its release date as of now.
