Upon reaching Kuttenberg in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, players will discover numerous tasks and side missions brimming within this lively urban center. These assignments and helpful informants can be spotted on the map, and successfully finishing them will yield rewards for the player’s efforts.
In the expansive game known as “KCD2“, there’s an extended side mission titled “A Thorough Cleansing” where Henry lends a hand at a neighborhood bathhouse, aiming to kick-start a new venture. This quest will require you to traverse various regions of Kuttenberg, hence this guide might be handy for you.
How To Start “A Good Scrub” In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Players can initiate “A Good Scrub” by navigating to the Kingfisher Bathhouse located in the southeastern part of Kuttenberg, specifically in the district known as Hoprink. One of the helpful characters in the shop area might guide Henry towards the bathhouse by suggesting he could find employment there.
Visit the Bathhouse in Hoprink

As a gamer, I’d say: “The game’s bathhouse could use a bit of sprucing up, but don’t let that fool you. If you’re looking for Betty, the proprietor, keep walking through the passageway and climb the stairs next to the guy tinkering away. You’ll find her in one of the rooms upstairs.

As a gamer, I approach her in the game’s world, and she confides in me about her current predicament. She’s attempting to open the bathhouse, but there’s a hitch with her wagoner, Matsek. He’s causing some trouble, apparently. She pleads for my help, asking me to jet off to Grund, track down Matsek, and grab a package he’s been holding onto. Once I agree to lend a hand, she mentions that the next chapter, “A Good Scrub,” will commence.
Pick up the Package for Betty

You’ll locate Matsek standing outside the Grund tavern. Speak with him to uncover the situation regarding the cargo. Matsek appears uneasy, so don’t forget to bring up Betty during your conversation. It turns out that Betty’s “package” isn’t a conventional one; instead, it is a wagon filled with young women who are en route to work at the bathhouse, and Matsek seems hesitant about delivering them.

Henry must engage in a straightforward conversation with Matsek, making it clear that he approves of taking the girls to Kuttenberg. The players have several choices for how to facilitate this discussion.
- EASY: There aren’t any soldiers here. (Persuasion)
- EASY: We’re not doing anything illegal! (Impression)
Once they achieve their goal, he’ll consent to prepare the cart. It’s on Henry to inform the ladies about this. You’ll locate them seated at a table outside the tavern. Engage in conversation with the woman in green called Barber Klara.

The young ladies are heading towards a wagon, and Henry has the opportunity to join them there for the journey to Kuttenberg. During this trip, some lively, possibly inappropriate discussions might take place among the players. As they progress, they may quickly teleport to their destination.
Go Back to Betty’s Bathhouse

Upon your return, have a conversation with Betty regarding the transport of the girls. But be aware that Adam, another proprietor of a bathhouse in Kuttenberg, may approach Betty trying to pressure her into selling her bathhouse to him.
Once he departs, she requests Henry’s aid in announcing the Kingfisher’s grand opening celebration. Together, they will brainstorm a catchy phrase for him to recite that sparks curiosity about their business. Betty will offer suggestions on what sounds most appealing, and then provide him with four places to make appearances.
Spread the Word About the Party

Henry has to drop by four spots and serve as a town crier: the Corn Exchange, Livestock Marketplace, and Merchants Square are the first three destinations. The fourth spot, indicated by a marker close to the fountain and church on his map, should be visited too. However, he must avoid discussing anything related to the bathhouse at that location.
At his fourth establishment’s grand opening, a resident may confront Henry, expressing disapproval over his choice of location being near a church and running an allegedly inappropriate business. The players must either successfully navigate a conversation-based challenge or engage in a physical altercation with this individual.

Choosing the following options will smooth things over:
- HARD: There’s nothing wrong with bathhouses. (Persuasion)
- EASY: Get lost before I lose my temper. (Intimidation)
After visiting every place and making the announcements about the opening, head back to Kingfisher and chat with Betty. Then, simply wait for the party to commence. As it kicks off, Henry indulges in a rowdy night filled with drinking, dancing, and bathing. Regrettably, you’ll be awakened rudely by one of the workers the next morning.
Clean Up the Bathhouse

It falls on Henry to tidy up the mess at the bathhouse caused by the rowdy guests, as well as remove the unconscious partygoers who are strewn about the rooms, since the local official is planning to inspect the premises early to ensure it’s in good order.
Hide the Bodies

Transfer the four unconscious, intoxicated individuals up to the second floor, and place each of them successively in the first room on the right as you ascend the stairs.
Pick Up the Tankards

Locate all the tankards scattered throughout the bathhouse. You’ll find a total of six; some are standing straight while others have been tipped over. Three can be found in the front room, and another three are in the vicinity of the bathtub.
Pick up the Clothes

Straighten up by picking up the scattered clothes and towels. In the bathroom region, you will come across a hat, two t-shirts, and a set of hoses. Additionally, there’s a towel located in the front living area.
Clean Up the Vomit

What remains is cleaning up the mess from vomiting. You’ll see it near the second tub, located on the left side of the room as you enter. Simply hover your cursor over it and opt for ‘clean’ to remove it.
After a specified period, the alderman will conduct an inspection at that location. Avoid speaking to him during his inspection or the mission could be unsuccessful. If players tidy up and clean everything up, the alderman will appreciate the place, allowing Betty to launch her bathhouse. At the conclusion of the quest, she’ll reward Henry with these items:
- 100 Groschen
- Positive Reputation
- Permanent discount at the Kingfisher Bathhouse.
