Last year on December 27, the Tamil action-drama film titled Rajakili was screened in cinemas. Directed by Umapathy Ramaiah, this movie sparked a variety of reactions at the box office. Now, it’s preparing for its premiere online.

The narrative of Rajakili revolves around Anandan, the manager of Annai Madi Anbalayam orphanage. One day, he encounters a destitute man rummaging through a trash can for food. He invites him in, offers him a meal, and looks after him. However, the beggar remains adamant about holding onto his bag. In his sleep, Anandan decides to inspect its contents and discovers a diary. This diary unveils the true identity of the beggar – Murugappa Sendrayar, once a successful businessman.
In the diary, we unravel Sendrayar’s troubled history. His wife, Deivanai, harbors suspicions about his faithfulness; he is labeled a philanderer and betrayal seems to dog him wherever he goes. He encounters extortion, scandals, and political hazards. Alleged of murder, he ends up in prison. Concurrently, Pazhaniyappan, his son, assumes management of his possessions. Thamaraiselvi IAS deceives him into thinking she can aid him, but ultimately, she conspires to eliminate her own father.
As a relentless admirer, I can’t help but recount the tale that unfolds like a thrilling drama. Stricken with misfortune and confined within hospital walls, I, Sendrayar, manage an escape from my captors. Yet, my freedom is short-lived as I discover myself left in the cold, alone.

Cast and crew of Rajakili
The movie Rajakili is helmed by Umapathy Ramaiah, who also wrote the screenplay. He isn’t alone in crafting the story and dialogues; Thambi Ramaiah contributed to those aspects as well. The film is brought to life by Suresh Kamatchi as the producer, with Thambi Ramaiah, Samuthirakani, and Suveta Shrimpton taking on crucial roles.
For those unfamiliar, Samuthirakani is a well-known actor who has worked with the likes of Ram Charan (in Game Changer), Arun Vijay (in Vanangaan), and Ajith Kumar (in Thunivu), among others.
In this movie, Kedarnath S and S. Gopinath are responsible for the beautiful cinematography, R. Sudharshan takes care of the editing, and Thambi Ramaiah creates the enchanting music score.
