Despite the attention he’s been garnering lately (known as Simbu), the actor was recently seen in Dubai, taking time out to watch the India vs. Australia cricket semi-final match.

In the professional sphere, the actor is set to challenge Kamal Haasan, an esteemed actor, in the forthcoming Tamil gangster drama titled Thug Life. The audience can expect him to display a stylish demeanor and take on intense action scenes, portraying a role that is unprecedented in this movie.
For the unversed, Thug Life is expected to hit the big screens on June 5, 2025.
Additionally, he is working on his upcoming film, titled STR51, under the direction of Ashwath Marimuthu. A sneak peek reveals him portraying the character of the God of Love, yet displaying a threatening gaze.
According to previous news, it’s anticipated that STR51 will have a classic feel, aligning well with the type of movies Silambarasan TR has been known for in his cinematic career thus far.
