Harley-Davidson unveiled the CVO Road Glide RR, a high-performance bagger designed with racing precision, boasting a limited production run. This vehicle borrows design elements from its MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers race team, providing an exceptional blend of power and handling that is legal for street use.
At the core of this top-tier motorcycle lies the Screamin’ Eagle 131 V-Twin engine, Harley-Davidson’s most potent factory-built Big Twin. Boasting 153 horsepower and a torque of 150 lb-ft, the 2147cc engine offers swift acceleration and a high redline of 6500 RPM. The engine is optimized with CNC-machined cylinder heads, a performance camshaft, a 68mm throttle body, and titanium Akrapovič exhaust system, reducing weight while amplifying power output.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but marvel at the performance enhancements of the CVO Road Glide RR. It’s not just about the engine; it’s also about the race-spec Öhlins suspension that takes this bike to a whole new level. The 43mm inverted front fork and dual outboard rear shocks make handling an absolute dream, while the billet aluminum swingarm keeps the weight down and rigidity high. The braking system is nothing short of phenomenal, boasting Brembo GP4-RX CNC calipers and floating T-Drive rotors that deliver unmatched stopping power when needed.
In terms of appearance, the Road Glide RR is distinct with its Racing Orange design inspired by racing tracks and carbon fiber accents. Its sleek fairing, aluminum billet controls, and solo race seat all underscore its aggressive demeanor. Furthermore, this touring motorcycle flaunts a 12.3-inch infotainment system driven by Skyline OS, Apple CarPlay compatibility, and a 500-watt audio system from Rockford Fosgate.
Only 131 specially crafted models of the CVO Road Glide RR are being sold, and they’re only accessible in the United States. The cost for one is set at $110,000 USD.
