Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Trailer Reveals Editions, Release Date

Following numerous fan requests for a sequel to Vicarious Visions’ Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, Activision has responded. The highly anticipated Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is set to be released soon on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

When is the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 release date?

Following several weeks of speculation, whispers, and sneak peeks, Activision in collaboration with Iron Galaxy, have officially unveiled that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is set to hit gaming consoles and PC on July 11th. Alongside the announcement of its launch date, a fresh trailer was released, offering glimpses into the gameplay and exciting new features in store. Among these updates are the inclusion of new skaters such as Rayssa Leal, and a thrilling water park setting. Take a look at the trailer below for more details.

On PlayStation 5, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 offers three distinct editions. The basic Standard Edition costs $49.99 and only includes the primary game. For a bit more at $69.99, you can opt for the Deluxe Edition, which comes with various items inspired by the popular first-person shooter Doom.

1. The base game (Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4)
2. A set of Doom-themed skins for your characters and boards
3. A collection of bonus levels inspired by Doom
4. A soundtrack featuring music from both Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series and Doom games.

  • The Doom Slayer and The Revenant playable skaters, each includes 2 secret moves. The Doom Slayer includes 2 unique outfits and the Unmaykr Hoverboard skate deck.
  • Additional songs included to the game soundtrack
  • Exclusive Doom Slayer, Revenant, and Create-a-Skater skate decks
  • Exclusive themed Create-a-Skater Items

Additionally, there’ll be a Special Collector’s Version available, boasting all the contents of the Deluxe Edition plus a genuine skateboard featuring a Birdhouse design.

As a gamer excitedly anticipating Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, I can’t help but share some exciting news for those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition. By doing so, you’ll not only get the game early with a 3-day head start, but also a Wireframe Tony Shader and access to the Foundry demo once it drops. For those who may be out of the loop, Foundry is the legendary first level from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3. In 2020, before Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 launched, Activision gave us a taste with the Warehouse demo, allowing early access to the iconic Warehouse level from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1. This upcoming Foundry demo appears to follow a similar approach.

In the latest edition of this game, you’ll find a roster packed with professional skaters that fans have grown accustomed to, such as Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Steve Caballero, Kareem Campbell, Geoff Rowley, Andrew Reynolds, Elissa Steamer, Chad Muska, Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, Jamie Thomas, Rune Glifberg, and Bob Burnquist. Moreover, some fresh faces have joined the ranks, including Rayssa Leal, Jamie Foy, Chloe Covell, Zion Wright, and Yuto Horigome.

The hit tracks from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater soundtracks have made a comeback, featuring classics such as “Ace of Spades” by Motorhead, “Amoeba” by Adolescents, “Mass Appeal” by Gang Starr, and more. As with the previous remake, there will also be songs that encapsulate the vibe of contemporary skate culture.

Preorders for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 are available right now.
