Following many anticipations, the creators have officially announced the release date for the “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” film. This much-loved anime, consisting of 63 episodes and some compilations thus far, is nearing its final arc on television. The exciting news is that this final chapter will be presented as a three-part movie series. Ever since the Hashira Training arc ended in June 2024, fans have eagerly awaited any updates about the release of the first Infinity Castle film. Now, the team behind “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” has set the premiere date for Japan in July 2025 for the debut of the Infinity Castle movie.

At the Corps Gathering event that took place on March 1st, it was announced that the highly anticipated Infinity Castle movie is set to premiere in Japanese cinemas on July 18, 2025.
Despite not revealing other international release dates for the initial Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie as of now, there’s been buzz that the animated production might debut in the U.S. and various European regions around September 2025. However, the creators behind Demon Slayer have yet to confirm any official information about the film’s worldwide release timeline.
Based on Crunchyroll’s announcement, the Corps Gathering event has verified the re-release of the Mugen Train from 2020, another significant feature in the series. Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, this project is set to be released in Japan with a 4K upgrade on May 9, about five weeks before the premiere date of the upcoming Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle film. Additionally, the rest of the anime will have special screenings every week starting from April 4.
The anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba primarily follows the journey of Tanjiro, a determined young boy seeking to become a demon hunter following a heart-wrenching event in his life. Recently, audiences witnessed Tanjiro and his companions embark on an expedition into the Infinity Castle, which serves as Muzan Kibutsuji’s stronghold. They were accompanied by their Hashira allies throughout this journey.
