In this tribute section, they honored various notable figures from the movie industry who recently passed away, such as David Lynch, James Earl Jones, among others. Yet, some viewers online pointed out that Michelle Trachtenberg and Tony Todd were unexpectedly left out of the memorial montage aired on television.
On numerous social media platforms, fans showed astonishment and revulsion over the omissions, given the high profiles of both actors. Trachtenberg died on February 26, 2025, at the tender age of 39, while Todd passed away on November 6, 2024, at the venerable age of 69, after a tough fight against cancer.
