Following the unexpected news that Broccoli and Wilson would be relinquishing their producer roles in the franchise, Amazon MGM Studios will now have creative control over it. A partnership between Amazon MGM Studios and the pair has been formed to manage the ownership rights of the James Bond franchise together.

Previously, Broccoli and Wilson held creative control over the Bond series, but now Amazon MGM Studios will take charge. Although they had been vigilant guardians of the franchise in the past, both have decided to relinquish this role. In a statement, Wilson expressed his intention to concentrate on artistic pursuits and philanthropic endeavors, while Broccoli mentioned her plans to focus on other projects.
