Starting February 28 and running through March 2, the movie “Ranarangam” starring Sharwanand will be available to stream for free on Sun NXT. They made this announcement on X by saying, “This isn’t something you can wait any longer for! Watch ‘Ayirathil Oruvan’ and ‘Ranarangam’ for free from February 28 to March 2 on Sun NXT.

Official trailer and plot of Ranarangam

The tale of Ranarangam kicks off when Sanjay, a construction magnate based in Spain, petitions a local legislator for assistance in demolishing a slum area for a potentially profitable airport venture. However, he encounters resistance from liquor tycoon Deva, which sets the stage for disagreements and potential turmoil.

In the 1990s, Deva and his companions illegally sold movie tickets on the black market in Visakhapatnam. After alcohol prohibition took effect in 1995, he moved into the illicit liquor business, confronting MLA Simhachalam. Following a six-month jail term, Deva asserted dominance, but Simhachalam struck back by murdering Deva’s friend and wife, Gita. Infuriated, Deva dismantled Simhachalam’s empire, compelling him to go into hiding.

In time, Deva finds himself in close proximity to Doctor Geetha, managing to survive an attack orchestrated by Sanjay, a colleague of his adversaries. Simhachalam seizes both Geetha and Sahasra, but it’s later discovered that Deva had previously slain Simhachalam. The plot is unraveled as Suri, one of Deva’s trusted aides, is exposed as the mastermind. Faced with treachery from within his ranks, Suri, along with Sanjay and the Home Minister, meet their end. With the conclusion of this saga, Deva makes his way back to Spain.

Cast and crew of Ranarangam 

The film “Ranarangam” was both directed and written by Sudheer Varma, who also oversaw the screenplay. It was produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi. In the main role is Sharwanand, supported by Kajal Aggarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan.

In this movie, Divakar Mani took care of the stunning visuals, Naveen Nooli worked on the editing, and a trio consisting of Karthik Rodriguez, Prashant Pillai, and Sunny MR created the music.
