A$AP Rocky highly-anticipated album DON’T BE DUMB is officially in its final stages.
In a recent chat with GQ, the rapper has disclosed that his fourth studio album is being finalized through mixing and mastering processes. Rocky expressed that fans might be weary of hearing frequent updates about the album, stating, “It seems people are eager to get their hands on it already.” He continued, “I don’t believe they care about knowing where I am with it or how far along it is. They just want to hear something fresh so they can gauge my current status.” Rest assured, he has new material ready and is pushing himself creatively. He approaches this project differently than before, using unique strategies, levels of intensity, or refined techniques.
He stated, “I’ve completed the album, and I can’t wait to release it. I’m tired of talking about it and I’m eager to deliver on my long-awaited promises to the fans.
Mark Rocky’s upcoming album, which follows his 2018 release “TESTING“, was initially scheduled for an August 30 drop but has been pushed back to Fall 2024 due to issues with leaks and sample clearances. A fragment of an unpublished song stirred up online conversations, featuring Rocky rapping about the brands he wore during his court trial, set to a beat produced by Metro Boomin. This implies that the album may contain a track that was possibly created during his time being acquitted.
