For more than a year now, Devin Booker and Nike Basketball have been unveiling various color schemes for his first signature shoe, the Nike Book 1, which he wears during games with the Phoenix Suns. Since then, there’s been an incredible variety of colorways, ranging from tributes to classic sneakers to designs inspired by Arizona itself – showcasing both general releases and Player Exclusives (PEs).
As we wait for news about Nike Book 2, Booker recently stepped onto the court wearing a new pair inspired by the “Mowabb” design. The Mowabb silhouette from the ACG line first appeared in 1991 and was reintroduced in 2021 to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Building on its history, a “Mowabb” colorway in “Sesame” and “Dusty Cactus” was released today, and we now have a glimpse of its “Trails End Brown” version. The design pays homage to the past with a brown upper, black Swooshes, and purple and gold accents.
As a gaming enthusiast, I haven’t received any word yet from Devin Booker or Nike Basketball about the public release of the “Trails End Brown” version of his first signature shoe, the Book 1. Keep your eyes peeled for updates as I’ll be keeping tabs on the ongoing launch of Booker’s debut sneaker.
