At a recent Los Angeles debut of Netflix’s “The Electric State,” at The Egyptian Theatre Hollywood, the filmmaking pair Joe and Anthony Russo shared tidbits about upcoming Marvel films “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars,” scheduled for release in 2026 and 2027.

In response, Anthony Russo playfully replied, “Close your eyes and let your imagination run wild. You can picture whoever you find appealing, whoever sparks your interest.
In this project, we’ll see a collaboration with writer Steven McFeely once again, along with his partner, Christopher Markus. The duo has been responsible for penning the scripts for all previous Marvel films directed by the Russo Brothers.
