Initially, it received a mixed bag of reactions from viewers, yet everyone seemed to agree on its poignant narrative, unfolding amidst a tumultuous societal landscape. Now, this masterpiece is primed for its digital premiere on OTT platforms, and I couldn’t be more eager to rewatch it!

The story unfolds against the turbulent backdrop of 1980s Bangalore, where a man named Kaiva ventures into the city in pursuit of employment, ultimately finding himself smitten by Salma, a woman who earns her living operating a typewriter.

Yet, a gradual development of affection between them is disrupted when three ruffians mistakenly think that Salma is the girlfriend of their adversary, Govindanna. As a result, they viciously attack her, causing permanent damage to her face with an acid assault.

Once Kaiva learns about the matter, he becomes enraged and embarks on a vengeful spree against the trio of thugs, receiving assistance from none other than Govindanna himself. Simultaneously, he keeps his vow to Salma by tying the knot with her, cementing their love bond.

As the story unfolds, Kaiva takes action to avenge himself on the villains, upholding justice for his beloved Salma. His journey is marked by a combination of raw emotions, courage in defying injustice, and a determination to stand tall against harmful forces within society.
