Unlike the larger or smaller monsters that are visible from a distance, this lizard belongs to the Endemic category, meaning it’s small and can only be caught with a net. Tracktail Lizard Location
To find the Tracktail Lizard in Monster Hunter Wilds, make your way to sectors 11 and 13 of the Windward Plains, often referred to as the dune areas. If you’re having trouble locating these zones, remember that they are also where Balahara (similar to sand worms) spawn. Based on our observations, the Tracktail Lizard tends to appear south from the oasis. So, explore the surrounding area until you spot one. Use the following image as a guide to identify the creature’s appearance.
When you come across it, you can choose to get there either by walking or riding your Seikret. From there, you’ll be able to deploy your net. To accomplish this, select the net from your items, attach it to your slinger, and then take aim and fire. Once you’ve successfully caught it, you’ll earn five guild points and finish the Dareel’s Research Report quest.
To put it simply, this activity doesn’t offer significant prizes, but it serves as an informative guide on trapping small creatures, which can be quite valuable, particularly for those aiming to fill their hunting journal.
