Who is in The Assessment trailer?
This video provides an up-close examination of the principal actors, with Emmy nominee Elizabeth Olsen playing Mia and Academy Award winner Alicia Vikander portraying Virginia leading the way. The talented cast additionally includes Himesh Patel (Tenet), Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Nicholas Pinnock (For Life), Charlotte Ritchie (Ghosts), and Leah Harvey (Foundation).
The plot revolves around Mia and Aaryan, an accomplished duo eager to start a family in a world where resources are scarce and authorities tightly regulate reproduction. Their journey is overseen by Virginia, an assessor, who temporarily resides with them for seven days to determine their worthiness as parents. What they initially perceive as a routine examination soon spirals into a harrowing psychological ordeal, compelling them to scrutinize the fundamentals of their society and grapple with the essence of what it is to be human.
The Assessment is the first feature film directed by Fleur Fortuné, a French director. The screenplay was written by Nell Garfath-Cox, Dave Thomas, and John Donnelly. This movie has several executive producers, including Tom Brady, Connor Flanagan, Allen Gilmer, William Bruce Johnson, Carlotta Löffelholz, Rusta Mizani, Thomas K Richards, Madeleine K. Rudin, Veronica Rushing, Jonathan Saubach, and William Shockley. Additionally, Julie Goldstein, Grant S. Johnson, Elizabeth Karlsen, Jonas Katzenstein, Maximilian Leo, Shivani Rawat, and Stephen Woolley serve as producers. The film is a production by Number 9 Films and Filmproduktion.
