The radio program known as “Brooke & Jubal” is well-known for its hosts, Brooke Fox and Jubal Fresh, who have amused listeners with their friendship and humor for quite some time. Yet, in 2020, Fresh decided to part ways with the show after nearly a decade. So, one might ask, what led to Jubal Fresh’s departure from Brooke & Jubal?

Why Brooke & Jubal’s Jubal Fresh left the hit radio show
The duo Brooke and Jubal parted ways with their popular show “The Jubal Fresh Show” after Fresh was terminated from his position (The Departure of Jubal Fresh). This situation unfolded when Fresh took an extended leave from the radio, and replays of his segments started in January 2020.
Additionally, in April 2020, listeners were taken aback when it was announced that Fresh would no longer be part of Brooke & Jubal. It came to light that he had been dismissed, as Hubbard Broadcasting chose to terminate his contract. The broadcast was planning a new show, but fans continued to inquire about the unexpected reason for Fresh’s departure.
As a dedicated fan, I soon found myself preparing to take legal action against Hubbard for what I perceived as an unfair dismissal. In this lawsuit, I chose to address my departure from the organization. I revealed that while they claimed my termination was due to “inappropriate, unprofessional, offensive, and insubordinate conduct,” the true reason behind my dismissal was something quite different.
I asserted that the broadcaster had chosen to release me because they were unwilling or unable to meet their financial obligations towards me, a situation brought about by a crisis in advertising revenue due to the global spread of COVID-19 (as reported by Radio Insight).
On his Fresh Till Death podcast, the radio host candidly discussed his departure, saying, “If you’ve been following along and are curious about the change, you’ve likely noticed something amiss. I’ll share more details when I deem it fitting. Once I feel comfortable, I’ll openly talk about everything.
After Fresh left the scene, Brooke and Jubal’s segment concluded. Later on, my favorite producer, Jeffrey Dubow, stepped into Fresh’s shoes, and the show was reborn as “Brooke & Jeffrey in the Morning.” Meanwhile, Fresh unfortunately lost his lawsuit and is now entertaining audiences with his new program, “The Jubal Show.
