Amazon’s MGM Studios has officially announced that Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins have joined the cast of The Boys for Season 5. These two are well-known for their roles in Supernatural, and they will now be working alongside Jensen Ackles (as Soldier Boy), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (as Joe Kessler), Jim Beaver (as Robert Singer), and Rob Benedict (as Splinter) on the popular Prime Video superhero series.
The much-anticipated revelation was shared via an Instagram video starring Ackles, Padalecki, and Collins. While specifics about their characters remain secret, it’s forecasted that Padalecki and Collins will make special appearances. Their roles come almost five years since Supernatural concluded its 15-season stint on The CW.

Who else is in The Boys Season 5 cast?
As a devoted fan, I’m excited to share that the gripping series “The Boys” is the brainchild of Eric Kripke, who also masterminded Supernatural. It’s inspired by the comic book series penned by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. This captivating show boasts an impressive cast, including Karl Urban, Antony Starr, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Cameron Crovetti, Valorie Curry, Susan Heyward, and many others. Right now, the team is hard at work during production for Season 5!
In the last part of this series, we’ll see Daveed Diggs (Hamilton, Snowpiercer) and Mason Dye (Stranger Things) joining the cast, with Dye taking on the character of Bombsight. This production is overseen by Ennis, Robertson, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Judalina Neira, Jessica Chou, Ken F. Levin, and Jason Netter as executive producers.
