Disney unveiled a sneak peek at the second season of the popular Disney+ show, “Andor,” announcing its upcoming release. The second season is set to conclude the narrative arc of the character, Andor.
What happens in the Andor Season 2 teaser trailer?
The trailer features Diego Luna reprising his role as Cassian Andor, along with Forest Whitaker’s character Saw Gerrera and other familiar faces from season one. Additionally, it hints at an upcoming rebellion against the Empire, setting the stage for events that lead to the original Star Wars trilogy films.
Starting on April 22, 2025, Andor Season 2 will make its exclusive debut on Disney+. The concluding season will be divided into four chapters, with each chapter consisting of three episodes. Following the initial release on April 22, a new chapter will become available every week.

In late 2022, the first season of Andor made its debut. The show brings back Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, with franchise veterans Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma. Newcomers to the Star Wars universe include Denise Gough, Stellan Skarsgård, Kyle Soller, and Adria Arjona.
Five years prior to the storyline of Rogue One, this series delves into the thrilling exploits of our protagonist, a rebel spy, during the early stages of the Rebellion. It unravels stories of espionage and daring operations as we witness the struggle against the oppressive Empire that threatens to crush all hope in the galaxy.
In a twist of events, showrunner Tony Gilroy, known for overseeing Rogue One reshoots, had to relinquish his directing role for three episodes in Andor. This was because of complications arising from travel restrictions caused by the pandemic, leading to Toby Haynes from Black Mirror stepping into this role instead.
