One of those days, a movie that premiered in cinemas last January, can now be streamed digitally. The Blu-ray and DVD release is scheduled for April 1, 2025.

What happens in the One of Them Days clip?

In this exclusive behind-the-scenes clip titled “One of Them Days” from the special feature “Block Party,” we get a peek at some backstage footage focusing on Aziza Scott’s character, Berniece. Issa Rae, the film’s producer, shares her thoughts in the clip, commenting that director Lawrence Lamont’s vision for Berniece was uproariously funny and emphasizing the importance of her ability to twerk and dance.

As Joshua Neal, the actor portraying Keshawn in our film, I’d say, “Working with Aziza has been an absolute blast! She threw herself into the role of Berniece without a second thought. Remember that ice cream scene? Well, let’s just say we both had a great time savoring that strawberry ice cream.

In the movie’s summary, we find that close friends and flatmates Dreux and Alyssa are facing a challenging day. The situation escalates when they learn that Alyssa’s boyfriend has squandered their rent money. As a result, the pair embarks on a humorous, time-bound mission to prevent eviction and preserve their friendship by resorting to unconventional methods.

In “One of Them Days,” the screenplay was penned by Syreeta Singleton. Keke Palmer assumes the role of Dreux in this movie, with SZA portraying her friend Alyssa. Additionally, the cast features Vanessa Bell Calloway, Lil Rel Howery, Katt Williams, Maude Apatow, Patrick Cage, Amin Joseph, and other notable actors.

On the day it was released, One of Them Days garnered favorable comments from critics. It grossed around 46.2 million dollars globally at the box office.
