Salaar Re-Release: Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s action epic to storm theaters once again on THIS date

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is gearing up for its cinema return, as per a recent update shared by Suresh PRO on social media. The new announcement reveals that the movie, featuring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles, will be back on screens starting March 21, 2025.

Initially shown in cinemas on December 22, 2023, the movie titled Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire was unveiled. This film, masterfully directed by Prashanth Neel who gained fame from KGF, is an extraordinary action-drama project derived from his own Kannada production called Ugramm.

In the fictional metropolis of Khansaar, a dystopian city-state, the narrative centers around the strong brotherhood and connection between Deva and Varadha. This city is ruled by a monarchy and primarily controlled by three distinct tribes. Prince Varadha encounters challenges from his father’s advisors and family members to hinder him from ascending the throne.

In the face of a power grab, Varadha turns to Deva for aid, aiming to vanquish his adversaries and claim undisputed rule over Khansaar. This film serves as the inaugural chapter in a two-part series, with Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam currently being developed as its sequel.

Beyond Prabhas and Prithviraj, this film boasts a talented ensemble of actors such as Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Eeswari Rao, John Vijay, Tinnu Anand, and numerous others in significant parts. I’m excited to see their contributions to the storyline.

Currently, Prabhas is filming under the working title “Prabhas Hanu” or “Fauji.” This film, known as a historical production, is expected to showcase the actor in the role of a solider from the British Indian Army.

Additionally, Prabhas’s movie “The Raja Saab,” helmed by director Maruti, is scheduled for release in cinemas. Moreover, the actor boasts other upcoming projects such as “Spirit” and “Kalki 2898 AD – Part 2.”

Conversely, Prithviraj Sukumaran is about to take on a significant part in the movie L2: Empuraan, which is not only starring Mohanlal but also being directed by him.
