In The First Descendant update 1.2.8, the patch notes mentioned the following improvement:
- Improved firearms Attribute ATK to increase according to the Weak Point Damage upon successful Weak Point Attacks

However, it’s possible to bring down the boss even faster, within five or four seconds, but the time can vary depending on your skill level.
