Jackie Tohn, a cast member from the Netflix romantic comedy series titled “Nobody Wants This“, has hinted at the potential release date range for Season 2. The well-received show initially premiered on September 26, 2024, and was swiftly renewed for its second season less than a month afterwards. Moreover, the actress has also disclosed when filming for the upcoming season is expected to commence.
Jackie Tohn thinks Nobody Wants This Season 2 could get a fall 2025 release date
Actress Jackie Tohn, who plays Esther in Nobody Wants This, recently shared her thoughts about when Season 2 might be released during an interview with The Direct at MultiCon on February 22. She suggested that we could see the new season as early as fall of 2025. Furthermore, she hinted that filming for the second season may commence as soon as February 24. This update follows Tohn’s earlier statement this month, where she mentioned that filming would start on March 3.
In her latest interview, Tohn hinted that the announced release date for Fall 2025 may not be finalized. She shared, “Regarding the show’s schedule, I must stress that I’m unsure about this detail, so I hope I don’t mislead anyone. However, last year, we began filming in February, March, April, and May, and aired during the fall season. I believe the plan is to follow the same pattern again.
Originating from Erin Foster, the series Nobody Wants This introduces an unconventional duo, Adam Brody as Noah and Kristen Bell as Joanne. Noah, being a rabbi, crosses paths with Joanne during a social gathering, and despite her being an agnostic, they find a connection almost instantly.
Apart from Tohn, Brody, and Bell, the cast features Justine Lupe portraying Morgan, Timothy Simons in the role of Sasha, Stephanie Faracy as Lynn, Emily Arlook as Rebecca, and Paul Ben-Victor playing Ilan. The announcement of renewal for another season also unveiled that Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan would join the production team as showrunners and executive producers.
