Kamal Haasan REVEALS if he would ever start his own acting school; ‘I cannot interfere…’

Without a doubt, Kamal Haasan is widely recognized as one of the most talented actors in Indian film industry. Over the years, he has delved into numerous genres, demonstrating his remarkable versatility throughout his career. Recently, this seasoned performer expressed his thoughts on whether he might establish an acting school to guide upcoming actors.

At the FICCI MEBC South event held in Chennai, Kamal Haasan expressed concern that his teachings, grounded in his time, may not harmonize with the shifting requirements of contemporary filmmaking. This misalignment could potentially hinder the progress of upcoming actors.

Later on, with a touch of humor, the famous figure hinted that while educating others, he might find himself learning as well, pretending to be the teacher.

Kamal Haasan expressed, “I can’t intervene in a new actor’s development because the acting I teach would be from my own era. It’ll benefit him similarly to how the acting of my predecessors has helped me. I can’t just replicate that style and present it to an audience without acknowledging who I learned it from. I dream of starting an acting school, but I see myself as a student alongside them, learning while I teach.

In a similar vein, Kamal Haasan recounted an experience in Los Angeles when he covertly attended an acting class without revealing his identity. Unfortunately, he was spotted and had to prematurely end his involvement.

Regarding his professional endeavors, Kamal Haasan is garnering attention due to an exciting slate of forthcoming movies. Particularly, the film “Thug Life” has sparked great excitement among admirers.

Furthermore, another project eagerly awaited is the third installment of the Indian series, the long-awaited sequel to the cherished film trilogy.
