Recently, Ravi Mohan wrote a touching message to celebrate the triumph of the NEEK team, who have recently seen great success with their film that debuted in theaters on February 21, 2025. The movie continues to thrive in theaters.

On his official social media platform, the actor from Ponniyin Selvan posted a message saying, “I’d like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the entire #NEEK team for the incredible success in theaters. I wish the newcomers a fantastic future and continue to applaud Dhanush, GV Prakash, Sreyas, and also send my best wishes to my brother Siddhartha Shankar as he receives all the recognition coming his way.

The film titled Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) is a heartwarming romantic comedy, skillfully directed by Dhanush. This captivating story revolves around Prabhu, a man in his twenties, who’s yet to fully recover from a breakup that occurred a year prior.

In the course of his life journey, Prabhu’s family encourages him to enter an arranged marriage with his old friend, Preethi, prior to him fully recovering from a previous romance. Upon learning about his predicament, Preethi advises him to face his past by attending his former girlfriend’s wedding, which might help him find closure.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t hide my excitement as the movie unfolds, focusing on the journey of none other than the charismatic Prabhu. This man is not just an actor, he’s my inspiration, as we delve deeper into his heart, exploring his feelings, and witnessing his quest for personal development. The talented Pavish Narayan, Dhanush’s nephew, takes center stage in this captivating tale, supported by a stellar cast including Mathew Thomas, Anikha Surendran, the mesmerizing Priya Prakash Varrier, R. Sarathkumar, Venkatesh Menon, and an array of other talented actors who bring this story to life in their respective key roles. This cinematic masterpiece is a must-watch for any fan like me!

In 2016, NEEK was first conceived, with Dhanush set to star as the main character under the guidance of Soundarya Rajinikanth. Unfortunately, the venture didn’t come to fruition, prompting Dhanush to step into the director’s shoes instead. The film has garnered mostly favorable feedback from critics, who have praised its acting and musical aspects in particular.

Currently, actor Ravi Mohan can be seen on screen in the movie Kadhalikka Neramillai earlier this year, alongside Nithya Menen. At present, he is involved in shooting for his upcoming project titled Parasakthi, which features Sivakarthikeyan as a co-star.
