When and where to watch Tenant
Approximately three years after its initial cinema premiere, the movie “Tenant” has now been streamed for the first time on the online platform SunNXT. This is the first Kannada film to be released on SunNXT in 2023 and it became available for streaming starting from February 21st, which was a Friday.

It’s clear that the story centers on a young pair, Kamlesh and Damini, who are quite satisfied with the earnings from their small grocery store and also by leasing out one of their home’s rooms.
Despite Sundresh being rather unclean, this bothers Damini greatly. Not only is she disturbed by his poor hygiene, but also by his persistent advances towards her. As a result, she implores Kamlesh to evict Sundresh. A struggle ensues, and in the chaos, Kamlesh sustains an injury to his head that eventually leads to his death from blood loss. Inspector Jay is called to investigate, and he quickly senses something amiss. The events following this discovery shape the heart of the story.
Cast and crew of Tenant
In his first directorial venture, Sridhar Shastri introduces Tenant to the world. Not only does he direct this movie, but he also wrote its story. The principal cast includes Dharma Keerthiraj, Sonu Gowda, Rakesh Maiya, and Tilak Shekar. Uggram Manju has a special appearance in the film as well.
In this movie, T Nagaraj and Pruthviraj Sagar served as the producers, Girish Hothur handled the music composition, Manohar Joshi operated the camera, and Ujwal Chandra was responsible for the editing process.
The movie showcases Dharma Keerthiraj in the role of Sundresh, a complex character. It’s no surprise that his fans were eager to witness their beloved actor, renowned for his romantic, charming roles, take on an antagonist.
