As a die-hard fan, I can hardly contain my excitement! The next installment of my favorite franchise is dropping on the streaming titan, Netflix, within the coming month. Known as Den of Thieves 2, this action-packed sequel managed to pull in over $55 million at the box office, despite a hefty production budget of $40 million. However, it seems the critics weren’t quite as enamored with the movie, which might be why we get to stream it so soon!

As a gamer, I dived into the latest sequel expecting an action-packed thrill ride, but unfortunately, it felt more like trudging through a swamp. Jonathan Sim from ComingSoon didn’t mince words when he gave it a 4 out of 10, citing inconsistency in plot, underdeveloped supporting characters, and a snail’s pace that made the movie feel longer than it was. In essence, the downsides overshadowed the few upsides, making for a tough watch overall.

Although Den of Thieves 2 received mixed responses, discussions about a possible third installment have begun. In fact, the early phases of Den of Thieves 3 production are underway, but there’s no set timetable for its release yet.
