The much-loved film “Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu,” starring Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh Daggubati, will be returning to cinemas for another run starting March 7, 2025.
The movie, initially shown on January 11, 2013, is set to make a comeback to theaters following a gap of 12 years. To confirm this exciting news, the creators posted an announcement saying: “The wait is finally over! Experience again the charm of family, love, and brotherhood with Peddhodu (Venkatesh Daggubati) and Chinnodu (Mahesh Babu). Don’t miss revisiting the timeless classic #SeethammaVakitloSirimalleChettu in theaters on March 7th.

The film, titled Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu or SVSC, is a heartwarming family drama in the Telugu language, masterfully directed by Srikanth Addala. It primarily focuses on two siblings who originate from a cherished family ruled by Relangi.
The siblings maintain a strong connection, even though their characters are strikingly dissimilar. The film delves into the challenges they encounter in their relationships with family members throughout their lives, as well as examining their individual romantic tales.
In the starring positions are Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh Daggubati, while the movie additionally features a talented cast such as Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Anjali, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Rao Ramesh, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Abhinaya, and several others in significant roles.
On the acting side, Venkatesh Daggubati recently starred as the lead character in the film “Sankranthiki Vasthunam,” directed by Anil Ravipudi. This action-comedy story revolves around YD Raju, a retired IPS officer who becomes entangled in a kidnapping case due to his past relationship.
Yet, humor enters the scene as his wife becomes involved in their investigation too, having harbored suspicions about her spouse.
On the contrary, Mahesh Babu is at present engrossed in the projects of an upcoming film, provisionally known as SSMB29 or SSRMB. The movie, helmed by SS Rajamouli, is rumored to be a thrilling jungle adventure, with Priyanka Chopra Jonas sharing the lead role alongside him.
