Gwen Stacy will be featured in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2.
In the year 2025, the Marvel Television series titled “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” produced by Jeff Trammell, made its debut on Disney+ in January. This show takes place in a unique timeline distinct from the main Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies and TV shows. It delves into the early days and origin story of Peter Parker as he adopts the role of Spider-Man.
After the release of the first season of Our Local Spiderman on February 19, 2025, there’s growing excitement about the upcoming second season that’s being worked on at the moment.
On Instagram, Trammell posted an artwork featuring Gwen Stacy/Spider-Gwen, hinting at her upcoming appearance in Season 2 of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
“The Neighborhood just got a little more Friendly,” Trammell wrote. “See you next season!”

At the moment, we’re keeping the specifics about the storyline of Spider-Man’s next season hush-hush. The exact release date is still to be determined.
Originally created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, the character known as Gwen appeared in Marvel Comics for the first time in The Amazing Spider-Man #31, published in 1965. She had romantic ties to Spider-Man, but tragically met her end at the hands of Green Goblin/Normor Osborn, a fateful event that has left an indelible mark on Peter Parker ever since. In intriguing news for fans, Marvel Comics is planning to resurrect this character in some form in a series set to launch in May 2025. Meanwhile, an alternate version of Gwen from Earth-65, known as Spider-Gwen, has emerged. In her universe, Gwen was the one bitten by a radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker, subsequently transforming into a superheroine.
Previously, Gwen has been brought to life on screen by Bryce Dallas Howard in Spider-Man 3 from 2007 and Emma Stone in both The Amazing Spider-Man films. Moreover, Hailee Steinfeld lends her voice to the character of Spider-Gwen within Sony’s Spider-Verse series.
No voice actor for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’s Gwen has been announced.
