A new featurette video for Disney’s live-action reimaging of Snow White has been released.
In March 2024, a fresh take on Disney’s classic tale “Snow White” will hit U.S. cinemas. This modern adaptation is from Walt Disney Productions and is inspired by the original Snow White story penned by the Brothers Grimm in 1812. The leading role of Snow White is played by actress Rachel Zegler.

What is Disney’s Snow White about?
According to the official summary, Disney’s Snow White is a modern, musical retelling of the 1937 animated film. This enchanting musical journey revisits the cherished tale featuring familiar characters like Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy.
As a gamer, I’ve noticed that the movie we’re talking about is under the guidance of Marc Webb, who’s no stranger to the big screen. His past projects include “500 Days of Summer” from 2009, “The Amazing Spider-Man” in 2012, its sequel “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” in 2014, “Gifted” also from 2017, and “The Only Living Boy in New York” that same year.
In this movie production, Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff hold producer roles, whereas Callum McDougall takes on the role of executive producer. Notably, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul have created fresh, unique tunes for the film’s soundtrack.
As a gamer, I’m recognized for embodying María in the 2021 adaptation of West Side Story, Anthea in Shazam! Fury of the Gods from 2023, and Lucy Gray Baird in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, which hit screens in 2023. Most recently, I’ve stepped into roles for 2024’s Y2K and gave life to Princess Ellian in Spellbound, where I lent my voice.
In the movie Snow White, Gal Gadot takes on the role of the Wicked Queen opposite Zegler’s Snow White. Known for portraying Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe and Gisele in the Fast & Furious series, Gadot was also recently seen in Heart of Stone (2023). Ansu Kabia is cast as the Huntsman in this film, while Andrew Burnap introduces a fresh character named Jonathan.
Disney’s Snow White will be released in United States theaters on March 21, 2025.
