She recounted their initial encounter, saying, “From a distance, he asked his assistant if I fancied a ride. Naturally, I accepted and when I saw him in his Chevy shirt and chilly car, my first words were, ‘You’ve got a better gig than me.’ He looked puzzled, thinking I knew who he was, and that was the start of our journey.
