Players can grab the latest Kingdom Come: Deliverance update on their preferred platforms immediately, with the game now updated to version 1.1.2.
Approximately seven years following the debut of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Warhorse Studios unveiled the long-awaited sequel recently. In merely two weeks, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has become a blockbuster hit, raking in two million copies, earning an impressive “very positive” rating on Steam, and consistently hosting more than 250,000 players simultaneously on the platform. Although the game has garnered positive feedback from both gamers and critics, it hasn’t been without its share of bugs and performance glitches. Fortunately, Warhorse Studios has rolled out a fresh update designed to tackle some of the most pressing issues currently affecting the game.
Version 1.1.2 of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is now ready for download by all players. This update introduces a variety of fixes and enhancements. It includes several stability adjustments to minimize crashes when viewing specific locked doors or chests, or while accessing the horse inventory. For Epic Games Store users, there’s a platform-specific fix resolving a bug that previously prevented achievements from being unlocked after more than an hour of gameplay. Furthermore, the update addresses numerous quest-related issues and stability improvements as outlined in the comprehensive patch notes provided at the end of this article.
Although the latest update doesn’t offer fresh content, Warhorse Studios has exciting plans for the future of “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2”. In a roadmap unveiled in January, the team revealed their intentions to release three new expansion packs between Summer and Winter. The first, titled “Brushes with Death”, is slated for a Summer release, followed by “Legacy of the Forge” in Autumn, and “Mysteria Ecclesia” in Winter. However, before these expansions drop, Warhorse intends to roll out free content updates during Spring, featuring a new barber option, a challenging hardcore mode, and horse racing events.
If you’re still not satisfied with free updates and additional DLC, there’s more good news! Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will offer mod support at some point down the line. While an exact release date hasn’t been set yet, Warhorse Studios has hinted that it will be available through Steamworks. They recommend keeping an eye on their social media channels for further updates about this exciting feature for the RPG soon.
