In Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, the allure of beach life and the tantalizing call of the high seas never fades. Yet, racing through the city on your Street Surfer can be just as exhilarating – that is, until the battery runs out. To ensure longer playtime and a more thrilling ride, here’s how to boost its charge capacity:
1. Keep the charger handy: Always have a spare, fully charged charger with you so you can recharge your Street Surfer as soon as the battery dies.
2. Charge overnight: Plug in your Street Surfer every night before going to bed, allowing it to fully charge and be ready for tomorrow’s adventures.
3. Avoid excessive use: Try not to overuse your Street Surfer, as constant riding can drain the battery faster. Take breaks or share rides with friends to conserve energy.
4. Use power-saving mode: If available, activate the power-saving mode on your Street Surfer to reduce energy consumption and extend battery life.
5. Upgrade the battery: Consider upgrading to a higher capacity battery for longer playtime. This can be done by purchasing a replacement battery with a larger charge capacity or even modifying the existing one.
Where to find battery packs for the Street Surfer in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
So far, I’ve discovered two Street Surfer batteries, and interestingly, both have been found in beautiful Honolulu. While they are a bit on the pricier side initially, acquiring one is definitely beneficial due to the additional charging capacity it provides for your Street Surfer.
You can obtain the initial item at Treasure Select Pawn on River Street for $1500. As it’s one of the first areas accessible in Honolulu, I recommend getting it early in the game. This addition provides you with an extra two charge cells for your battery, and it will be installed automatically once purchased.
In Chinatown, the second battery is stored at Treasure Select Pawn Shop. To advance across the Aloha Bridge, you must first complete some narrative missions in Honolulu. Once you have crossed, you can make your way there and purchase a $1500 battery upgrade for your Street Surfer, adding two additional charge bars to your device.
