Elon Musk has openly expressed his reasons for this action – he feels that the gaming world has veered off course, being controlled by large corporations and saturated with what he terms “woke gaming.” Previously, he criticized contemporary studios as creatively uninspired and overly focused on corporate gains. He believes that the industry requires a reboot. Now, with his new game studio using xAI, Musk is wagering that artificial intelligence could outperform today’s developers in creating innovative gaming experiences.

If you’re a developer, Musk’s actions seem to signal that AI might eventually replace human roles, potentially rendering jobs obsolete for those who went into debt for their education. However, on the bright side, at least AI-driven games don’t feature transgender characters, so there’s that, I suppose? This version aims to convey the same message in a more polite and less confrontational tone.

In a similar manner as Elon Musk experiments with his family by suggesting robots as replacements, he instead opted to replace his transgender daughter with a robot he named X Æ A-XII. However, it’s important to note that Musk has expressed affection for his children and this statement may not reflect his true feelings or actions.

Musk’s Lifelong Gaming Obsession

Elon Musk’s connection to video games stretches far into the past – even before his current project xAI. Way back in 1984, as a youngster, he designed and marketed his own game, Blastar, a straightforward space shooter that reflected his early enthusiasm for gaming. Nowadays, Musk continues to grab attention in the video game community, not merely for his views but also for stirring up controversy. Lately, accusations have been leveled against him for gaining an unfair advantage in Path of Exile’s global standings, with many doubting that he achieved this ranking on his own merit.

It’s very probable that the studio will employ Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence, known as Grok. This AI is already functioning on platform X and it operates on a massive supercomputer supported by approximately 200,000 graphics processing units (GPUs). By the year 2026, Musk intends to significantly increase this number to an impressive one million GPUs, further enhancing the capabilities of AI.

Over time, as artificial intelligence advances, it is likely that animations will grow increasingly lifelike, resembling human behavior – much like recent examples seen in the case of Mark Zuckerberg, but it’s essential to clarify that this similarity is merely a coincidence and not a direct cause-and-effect relationship.
