LA recently, the co-founder of Big Baller Brand underwent a particular process and continues to maintain high spirits. No additional information has been shared by officials regarding the health issue that necessitated the amputation.
Ever since 2017, when the Los Angeles Lakers picked Lonzo Ball, his eldest son, as the second overall draft pick, LaVar Ball has been a well-known public figure. In the year 2020, the Charlotte Hornets chose LaMelo, his younger son, with the third overall pick in the draft. The Ball brothers have often been in the limelight, primarily because of LaVar’s assertive character and media interactions.

In February, he agreed to a two-year contract extension worth $20 million with the team. Meanwhile, his brother LaMelo Ball, who was named an NBA All-Star in 2022, is averaging 27.3 points per game this season, despite dealing with an ankle injury (as reported by Fox Sports).
LiAngelo Ball, the second-born brother, has competed in the G League but hasn’t featured in any NBA matches so far. Notably, he showcased his latest track “Tweaker” during the NBA All-Star Weekend held in San Francisco.
Back in 2016, I, a basketball enthusiast, kicked off my own brand, Big Baller Brand. This company was all about crafting some top-notch kicks for my talented sons. However, our online platform had to take a short break in 2019 and then bounce back again. On the court side, in 2017, I set up the Junior Basketball Association, where my boys, LaMelo and LiAngelo, made their mark.
The Ball family has not publicly commented on LaVar’s recent surgery.
