The movie “Parasakthi” by director Sudha Kongara has been garnering attention with its initial glimpses. Starring Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela and Atharvaa, the film is placed in the tumultuous 1960s era of political strife.

According to Asianet Tamil’s report, the story is derived from M. Rajendran, a student at Annamalai University. Tragically, he was fatally shot by the police during the 1965 anti-Hindi demonstrations in Tamil Nadu. In 1969, a memorial statue was constructed on the university campus and was unveiled by the then Chief Minister Karunanidhi, in recognition of his courage.

According to rumors, it’s said that Sivakarthikeyan might take on the role of Rajendran, showcasing his courage and selflessness. If this is true, the movie’s ending could depict a heartbreaking yet heroic demise for him. However, these reports are not yet confirmed.

Regarding the upcoming movie, Sivakarthikeyan takes on the leading role, while Ravi Mohan is cast as the villain. Notably, this film will introduce Sreeleela to Tamil cinema. However, further details about the project are being kept confidential by the production team.
