J. Cole Shares He’s “Locked In” and Working on New Music

It appears that J. Cole is set to release some fresh tunes soon. In a recent post on his website about the newly launched Inevitable audio series, the 40-year-old hip-hop artist offers an insight into his current projects.

The rapper, J. Cole, reassures fans that he is fully dedicated to producing new music and will be posting more often. He acknowledges his inconsistency in the past but promises to improve. “I know mannnn… I’ve had a rocky start with consistency, but I’ma do better! Keep watching!” He goes on to explain that he has been deeply involved in his music while also managing family responsibilities, which is challenging to articulate fully. However, he ensures fans that he is back working on his music and plans to allow others to contribute content to keep the energy high and motivate him to post more frequently. Initially, he will invite Ib and Scott, with the intention of expanding the team from there. To anyone in his squad who might want to contribute, J. Cole welcomes applications!

To start with, this update pertains to a new announcement coming after his April 2024 mixtape entitled “Might Delete Later,” which included a song titled “7 Minute Drill” that targeted Kendrick Lamar. Notably, he later took back the diss and described it as “the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.” Keep an eye out for further details.
