Ayelet Zurer says her Daredevil: Born Again and House of David characters share similar ‘intensity and passion’

As reported by the actor who played Superman, Vanessa Fisk and Queen Ahinoam have numerous commonalities, particularly in their unwavering loyalty and deep affection towards their loved ones.

When chatting with Josh Wilding, Ayelet Zurer pointed out something intriguing: “I’ve been pondering on this, and it’s fascinating to see the resemblances and differences between our characters. I believe the common ground lies in their intense devotion and fervor for their men, as well as their unwavering loyalty. They’re both incredibly loyal women, sometimes to a fault.” (as a gamer speaking in the first person)

Ayelet Zurer pointed out a subtle distinction between Vanessa Fisk’s and Queen Ahinoam’s motivations. Unlike Vanessa who is drawn towards power and violence, Queen Ahinoam has no interest in violence at all; however, she finds herself forced into such situations to protect her family, her kingdom, the throne, and her husband.

Created by Jon Erwin of The Wonder Project, House of David is a series that tells the tale of King David, who ruled ancient Israel and Judah as the second monarch of the United Monarchy. The show is set to debut on Prime Video on February 27, 2025. Concurrently, Daredevil: Born Again will make its debut with a nine-episode season on Disney+ starting March 4, 2025.
