The movie “Daaku Maharaaj,” starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, was a huge success when it hit theaters on January 12, 2025. Now, as the film prepares for its online release, rumors indicate that certain scenes involving Urvashi Rautela could be deleted from the streaming version.
Based on an NDTV report, it seems that the streaming service Netflix may have removed certain scenes featuring the actress before the film’s debut. However, this claim hasn’t been verified yet; we’ll find out for sure when the movie is released on February 21, 2025.
It’s worth noting that Urvashi Rautela wasn’t included in the initial poster release by Netflix. Other notable stars from the movie were highlighted, yet her absence was quite conspicuous, fueling even more curiosity and rumors.
The film “Daaku Maharaaj” features Nandamuri Balakrishna as its main character, portraying a heroic officer who, together with his spouse, bravely challenges the oppression inflicted upon the common folk by a wealthy and powerful dynasty.
In his quest for justice, the main character adopts the alias of “Robber King” (Daaku Maharaaj), engaging in robbery for the betterment of society. The narrative unfolds as he fights against adversaries to bring tranquility back into the land.
Under NBK’s main role, the movie boasts a star-studded cast that includes Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, Rishi, Chandini Chowdary, Urvashi Rautela, Pradeep Rawat, and numerous others in significant parts.
Under the direction of Bobby Kolli, the music and soundtrack for the movie were created by Thaman. The camera work was executed by Vijay Kartik Kannan, whereas Ruben and Niranjan Devaramane handled the film’s editing process.
The movie premiered in theaters over Sankranthi 2025, and it garnered favorable reviews from both critics and viewers.
By the way, it’s been announced that actor Nandamuri Balakrishna will take on the main character in the upcoming film Akhanda 2, which is being helmed by director Boyapati Srinu.
