Unveiled: Avowed’s Max Level & Attribute Points Explained

Similar to many Role-Playing Games, Avowed incorporates a comprehensive leveling system linked with its skill tree and character attribute mechanics. As the Envoy progresses through the Living Lands, most actions will grant experience points towards level advancement. It’s important to note that this process isn’t perpetual; eventually, you’ll reach the level cap, which prevents any further XP, ability points, or attribute points accumulation. This guide aims to disclose the maximum level for the Envoy character in Avowed and how many attribute points can be acquired throughout the game.

Avowed’s Leveling System Explained

Avowed‘s leveling system features three main components:

  • Experience Points
  • Ability/Skill Tree & Points
  • Attribute Points

Ability Points:

Whenever I advance to the next level in the game “Avowed“, I receive one Ability Point that I can use within the game’s skill tree, divided into three main branches: Fighter, Ranger, and Wizard. There is also a fourth section for Godlike Abilities, but these are not obtained using my Ability Points. Instead, I unlock them by completing the main story missions and discovering the ancient memories within “Avowed“.

Each skill branch offers specialties in particular character types. For instance, the Fighter excels at close-quarter fighting and raw power, while the Ranger is proficient in long-range attacks, stealth, and exploration. Lastly, the Wizard concentrates on magical abilities. Feel free to combine skills from all branches as you see fit.

Attribute Points:

Points are accumulated not just by leveling up, but also at specific intervals starting from level 10. These points can then be assigned to the Character Attributes section, which encompasses the following attributes:

Or in a more conversational tone:

You gain Attribute Points not only when you level up, but every other time after reaching level 10 as well. These points can be used to enhance your Character’s Attributes, which cover various aspects such as:

  • Might: Increase Damage & Max Carry Weight)
  • Constitution: Increase Max Health & Poison/Bleed Resistance
  • Dexterity: Increase Attack & Action Speed
  • Perception: Increase Critical Hit Chance & Max Range
  • Intellect: Increase Max Essence & Elemental Resistance
  • Resolve: Increase Max Stamina & Second Wind Efficiency

Once you choose a backstory from Avowed’s five available options to establish your initial attribute levels, you can enhance them further using Attribute Points, training with companions, and appropriate equipment.

What is Avowed’s Maximum Character Level?

In the game called Avowed, players can ascend to a maximum level of 30. While this might appear modest, progression through the levels isn’t particularly swift. Our initial character managed to reach level 27 only after finishing every single quest – main and side ones – and accomplishing all tasks listed in each region. But rest assured, this doesn’t imply that the character feels underpowered. The way Avowed’s skill tree is structured ensures that 30 levels offer a satisfying gameplay experience.

Max Attribute Points?

Throughout your gaming experience, you have a grand total of 27 Attribute Points at your disposal. You’re free to reallocate these points as often as you wish by using the currency within the Character menu. In the game “Avowed”, there are no restrictions on how many times you can respec (or reassign attributes) your character.
