During the ongoing Mahakumbh celebrations in Prayagraj, many celebrities are flocking to the city for a spiritual pilgrimage and to immerse themselves in the sacred waters of Triveni Sangam. Notably, actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, who is also the deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, recently brought his family to Mahakumbh to ask for divine favor. Along with him were his son Akira Nandan and his wife Anna on this trip.

This afternoon, I had the privilege of participating in the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, where I, along with my esteemed family – my wife, Smt. Anna Konidela, our son Akira Nandan, and acclaimed director Sri Trivikram Srinivas, took a sacred dip together.

Take a look at the photos below:

Following the completion of the ceremonies, Pawan Kalyan shared with the press his long-held dream to attend the Mahakumbh. As a young teen, he first became aware of this event from Swami Yogananda’s biography.

When he was around 16 or 17 years old, he aspired to attend the congregation of spiritual leaders at Mahakumbh. Having now attended it personally, he realized that nothing, not even fame or riches, could surpass its importance.

At around 16 or 17 years old, I came across information about the Mahakumbh in Swami Yogananda’s autobiography. Ever since then, I had a strong wish to visit this place. Many spiritual leaders would gather here, and it was a dream I’ve held for a long time. He shared with ANI that he could finally make this dream come true.

In simple terms, the DCM stated, “When I went through it, I realized that no amount of fame or wealth can ever compensate for this unique experience.

He pointed out that approximately 50 million individuals attended the revered gathering, expressing his appreciation for being included in such an occasion. Regarding it as a significant memory, he revealed that he often hopes for the prosperity of our nation and all mankind, choosing to share this experience with everyone.

Meanwhile, the Mahakumbh festivities at Prayagraj will conclude on February 26.
