R Madhavan drops FIRST look of upcoming biopic GDN based on the life of revolutionary scientist GD Naidu

Actor R. Madhavan consistently delivers outstanding performances in a wide variety of roles, from action-packed blockbusters to thoughtful biographical films. He’s now set to take on yet another challenging biopic role, as he’s just unveiled the initial glimpse of this exciting new project.

On Instagram, R Madhavan shared the initial poster for his upcoming movie – a biographical film about the renowned scientist GD Naidu, whom he portrays in the project led by director Krishnakumar Ramakumar. The film is known as GDN.

Maddy posted an update indicating that filming for the movie in India has begun. In his message, he asked for everyone’s prayers and well-wishes.

For those unfamiliar, GD Naidu is often referred to as India’s Thomas Edison, a forward-thinking scientist renowned for being the pioneer in manufacturing an electric motor within India.

Now that R. Madhavan is preparing to embody this legendary character on-screen, it’s intriguing to see how skillfully he carries out his portrayal.

Apart from Maddy, the movie features key performances by Priyamani, Yogi Babu, and Jayaram. Govind Vasantha is responsible for composing the film’s music, while it is produced by Muralidharan and Aravind K.

Previously, during an interview with IANS, the film’s producer shared updates on the project’s development. He noted that principal photography in India would start on February 18th, marking the unveiling of the movie’s initial teaser and its title.

Additionally, he noted that the film’s crew, particularly the director, dedicated a significant five-year period to meticulous research in order to authentically portray the captivating character of GD Naidu on the big screen.
