As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share some insights about a film that recently graced our cinema screens on Valentine’s Day – “Brahma Anandam“. Directed by the talented RVS Nikhil, this comedy-drama has been warmly received since its theater premiere. However, it’s heartbreaking to see that within just a few days of its grand debut, the movie has fallen prey to the ruthless hands of piracy.
Indeed, as you saw, the film featuring Brahmanandam and Raja Goutham has been illegally uploaded on numerous piracy sites in high definition, despite repeated attempts by producers to prevent it. It’s not just this movie; even Vishwak Sen’s film, Laila, has found its way onto these unlawful platforms shortly after release and is now readily available for the public to view.
Lately, numerous South Indian movies such as Game Changer, Pushpa 2, Thandel, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, Dominic, and The Ladies’ Purse have been popping up online just hours after their premiere. Although piracy didn’t significantly affect the box office earnings of Pushpa 2, other films have suffered financial losses due to unauthorized distribution.
Various significant personalities in the Tamil movie industry have vocalized their worries about this escalating problem. Lately, the movie “Thandel” was played on a public bus in the state, which led the film’s producer, Bunny Vas, to voice his discontent on his social media platform.
Once more, an unauthorized version of our film #Thandel was being played on the APSRTC bus with license plate AP 39 WB. 5566. Piracy negatively impacts the movie industry and undervalues the efforts of creators. Chairman of APSRTC, Sir Konakalla Narayana Rao, please make certain a firm directive is issued to prevent the showing of pirated film material in all buses statewide.
Take a look at his post below:
Returning to the film “Brahma Anandam,” this movie is both a comedic and dramatic production, masterfully directed and penned by RVS Nikhil. The role of producer is fulfilled by Rahul Yadav Nakka.
In this film, you’ll find a talented group of actors such as Brahmanandam, Raja Goutham, Vennela Kishore, Priya Vadlamani, Rajeev Kanakala, and Aishwarya Holakkal gracing the screen. The cinematography is entrusted to Mithesh Parvathaneni, and Praneeth Kumar oversees editing duties. Sandilya Pisapati is responsible for creating the movie’s beautiful music.
