Furthermore, we gained information regarding an upcoming open beta where Kain and a number of others will be accessible for gameplay. Lastly, we discovered which characters complete the DLC lineup for Season Pass 1.
This year’s EVO Awards 2025 showcase was where all the fresh details for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves were unveiled. During this event, SNK introduced Kain as part of CotW’s primary roster, showcasing him in a brand new character trailer. For those who may not be familiar, Kain served as the boss in the previous mainline Fatal Fury game, Garou: Mark of the Wolves. He makes his return with many of his original moves and some additional techniques, such as his fade-away projectile, an elbow attack similar to Rock’s, and a deployable energy mine that can be activated to explode upon command.
Additionally, it was revealed that character Kain will be included in the forthcoming multiplayer beta test for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. The following characters are also playable:

From February 20 to February 24, 2025, you’ll have the opportunity to play the beta version of the game. But that’s not all! In addition, SNK unveiled all the characters yet to be released as part of Season Pass 1 DLC.
