What is Romeo vs. Juliet: A Kill Shakespeare Adventure about?

Romeo vs. Juliet: Warrior’s Redemption”

The graphic novel unfolds in five parts, introducing Juliet Capulet as a resilient survivor who has transformed into an independent mercenary. A hidden truth about Juliet is that she is pregnant, unsure whether Romeo Montague or Hamlet is the father. In a surprising turn of events, Juliet encounters a secluded convent and learns of its struggles, vowing to shield it and its inhabitants. As hostile forces, including her former lover Romeo, threaten, Juliet is compelled to reconnect with past allies such as Othello, Puck, and Hamlet in order to defend the nunnery.

Originally published as a series of highly-acclaimed comic books by IDW Publishing, Kill Shakespeare has since grown to encompass board games, live stage performances, an audio drama, and more. Most recently, Gemstone Publishing released the Kill Shakespeare: First Folio, a comprehensive edition gathering the first two volumes of the series. The eagerly anticipated Kill Shakespeare: Second Folio is set to arrive this autumn.
