How to sign up for the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds closed network test

The closed beta testing for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is scheduled from February 23 (Friday) to February 25 (Sunday). Although there’s no assurance of participation, it’s straightforward to sign up. Noteworthy, the game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox X/S, Xbox One, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, but the testing phase will exclusively occur on PlayStation 5.

To participate in the exclusive Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds network test, navigate to the official website of the game. Look for the section titled “Closed Network Test” and click on it. Enter your email address in the provided space, then click the yellow arrows next to it to open a form. Fill out the registration details, choose PlayStation 5 as your platform, and finally click Subscribe.

Registration ends on February 19, and those who are selected will get an email with the code from Sega on February 20.

The closed-circuit trial will showcase a selection of tracks: E Stadium, Rainbow Garden, Water Palace, Metal Harbor, Ocean View, and Wonder Museum. This event will have five CrossWorlds, such as Roulette Road, Dinosaur Jungle, Kraken Bay, Lava Cave, and Sky Road. The characters available for play during this trial are Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Shadow, Eggman, Omega, Zazz, and Cream.

Regrettably, advancements achieved during the network test won’t apply to the final release, but since this is the first chance to play the game, it might not be so frustrating after all.
