The series is currently in production at Amazon MGM Studios, and they’ve unveiled an overview of what to expect. But, as of now, the creators haven’t specified when exactly the show will be airing.

Actor Taylor Lautner is gearing up to revisit his Twilight past and assume the character of a werewolf hunter in an upcoming project. According to Variety’s report, Amazon MGM Studios, along with studio Tornante (known for BoJack Horseman), are collaborating on a TV series tentatively titled “Taylor Lautner: Wolf Hunter.
Without announcing a release date, the studio has unveiled an intriguing synopsis for the upcoming show, shedding light on its narrative. The plot, as hinted in the synopsis, revolves around Taylor Lautner, who disappeared from public view following the last ‘Twilight’ film. Fans and gossip columns wondered about his whereabouts, but the reality is more extraordinary than any speculation. It seems Taylor wasn’t merely taking a sabbatical for mental health reasons; instead, he was readying himself for a role that aligns with his true vocation…Taylor Lautner: The Werewolf Hunter.
In the upcoming series, Lautner is set to depict his character as a part of an enigmatic pack of werewolf pursuers. Onscreen, he will balance his life as a renowned Hollywood actor with his nocturnal duty as a werewolf hunter.
It subtly suggested that Lautner encountered conflicts with the entities that propelled him to fame, and found himself caught between the tasks of saving the world, rejuvenating his career, and experiencing romantic feelings.
Daisy Gardner serves as both the producer and conceptual mind behind the TV series. On top of that, Tyler Gillett and Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin have been tasked with directing the production.
